Two Conferences, One Mission
June 8-13
Made in Michigan: SEND
A mission focused annual conference

For six days in June, clergy and lay leaders from across Michigan gathered on the campus of Michigan State University. Together, we honored the career of our Bishop, reignited our passion for mission and returned home ready to share God’s love with the world.
Detroit Annual Conference was held Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9. Both conferences will shared time together on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11. Ordination was held on Sunday, June 12 followed by West Michigan Annual Conference, ending on Monday, June 13.

Programs
It’s a jam-packed few days. We’ll worship, gather in mission, celebrate the career of Bishop Deb … and do a little business. We’ll welcome new clergy and deacons and learn about the plans for bringing the two conferences together. And we’ll pause to remember and acknowledge our history with Native Americans in Michigan, taking the “First Steps” toward repentance and reconciliation.
Accommodations
We’ll gather on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University. On-campus housing is available at the Brody Complex. Off campus hotels are an option, too. Wherever you decide to stay, be sure to get your reservations made early.

Getting Around
We’ll probably do a little more walking than in previous years, but a robust shuttle system will be available. Learn more about what’s available on campus and the plans for getting around.
Schedule
It’s a different kind of conference in a new location. Be sure you know the latest schedule so you won’t miss a thing!
